		<description>While I have never come close to having that much gold, I&#039;m guessing an easy solution would be to transfer some of the gold to another toon on the same account and server. Therefore that cap should never really be too much of an issue.</description>

The data is stored as a 32 bit &#039;word&#039; in the database, with 31 bits describing the positive value, and the 32nd used as a negative indicator.

In other words, if they wanted to allow more money to be used, the database software would have to be re-written.</description>
