Head to the nearest auction house and do a search for level 65-70 uncommon items. Purchase every green item that is priced at less than 5 gold, then head to the mailbox and pick up your purchases. Disenchant the items you have purchased.

You will most likely get a few Arcane Dusts or a few Greater Planar Essences. The Arcane Dust will sell on average for about 2 gold each and the Greater Planar Essence will sell for 4 gold each.

You can also do this trick with level 65-70 rare items. Purchase any blue item that is priced a less than 20 gold. Follow the same steps as above. The items will more than likely disenchant into Large Prismatic Shards that sell for around 25 gold each.

Remember that every realm will have different economics, so the prices and values of individual items may vary.

The next step on this cruise to having a solid amount of gold can be reached when you have an enchanting skill of 50, which really should be easy to achieve if you have been disenchanting items using the first enchanting wow gold farming article. So once you have a skill of 50 you will be able to disenchant items between level 21-25. It would help if you were at 75 so you could include items that are up to level 30. If you are not there you will get there pretty quick with this WoW gold farming strategy.

So the first step is to head to the auction house and see what the average selling price for Soul Dust is. Once you have this price go ahead and purchase as many disenchantable items that are at this price and lower. The reason you do this is because the minimum that these items will disenchant into is a single Soul Dust. This way you will at least break even, but 90% of the time you will get a 2-3 pieces of Soul Dust or even some Essences.

So once you have purchased everything you can afford to, head to the mail box and collect all of your purchases, and then begin disenchanting. Once you have a maximum stack for the material head to the AH and sell the materials. Once all of the materials have been sold, repeat the process all over again!

As I was leveling I found that it was really difficult to do any kind of wow gold farming. I like to have a back up supply of gold, and usually I am able to transfer gold from my main to any alt that I start, but because we were on a brand new server to transfer any gold from. I hear quite often people say, you don’t need good gear until you are at least level 40, and that you shouldn’t waste your money on buying equipment until you ding 40. Personally I like to have a ton of gold at even really low levels. I hate being broke at low levels.

So in order to make some gold to sate my thirst for wow gold farming, I came up with a really easy strategy to make gold with new characters. Normally I would buy and sell limited supply items that are found within the main cities, but this time I wanted to try something new.

To use this one you will need to pick up Enchanting as a profession. Plus it would be handy to have the Enchantrix addon as well, although it is not necessary. Now I have seen many strategies like this before, but most focus on high level, expensive stuff. This will focus on new characters on a new server. The first thing you need to do is head to the AH and figure out the average selling price of 1 strange dust, not a stack, but just 1 single strange dust. For example on the server I did this with the average price was 15 silver. Now you need to a search on the AH for green (uncommon) items that have an item level of 15 or less. Not the equipable level, but the actual item level. The reason you need to stick to 15 or less is because that is what you can disenchant with a skill level of 1.

I will check the weapons category first and then check the armour category next. I am searching for items that can be disenchanted that are valued at less than the average price of a single strange dust. So in my example the average price of a strange dust was 15 silver, so I purchase every green item that I can afford that is selling for less than 15 silver. Once you have purchased enough items head to the mail box and pick up the items you purchased and begin disenchanting them. These items will disenchant into strange dust, greater magic essence, and lesser magic essence. When you have finished disenchanting all of the items you need to head back to the AH and start listing the materials that the items disenchanted into. Now all you have to do is wait until the disenchanted items sell, and you can go and purchase more items to disenchant and sell as pure materials. You can use this method for higher valued items as you progress, just make sure you use the lowest priced material that the item will be disenchanted into as the highest price you will pay for an item that you will be disenchanting. So in the example above the lowest material that I would be getting from disenchanting was strange dust, and strange dust was selling on average for 15 silver, so I purchased nothing more expensive than strange dust. Continue this wow gold farming method until you have enough gold or until your enchanting is high enough to move up to the next level of disenchanting

Now before you begin, you need to check over a few items. First off, do you have a good supply of gold. From 1-75 only cost you around 8 gold but this next step, and subsequent steps will cost you a substantial amount of gold. I mentioned earlier that if you would like to really learn how to make solid amount of gold, you need to watch this video. The next step is you have to ensure that you are above level 10 and you also have to have a previous enchanting skill of at least 50. Now if you followed the original WoW enchanting guide you should be at 75, or at least very close.

As I mentioned in the Apprentice Guide: The materials suggested are the “bare bones” minimum that you will require for leveling your enchanting. Quite often you will find that you need a little more than what is suggested, either purchase extra, or head to the AH when you run out.

106 Runed Silver Rod (6x Strange Dust 1x Silver Rod 6x Greater Magic Essence 1x Shadow Gem)

Now first off, leveling your Enchanting profession is going to be costly, so I would only suggest you start off with this WoW Enchanting guide if you have a substantial amount of Gold saved up, other wise you WILL go broke! If you do not have very much gold, then I suggest that you do a little WoW gold farming research before you even think about leveling your enchanting profession.

Step 2: Shopping for Supplies

You can either shop or farm for the items. This guide assumes that you will purchase the items that you require. To start off you will need to create a Runed Copper Rod in order to start enchanting items, and them from there you will begin enchanting items. Each item on the shopping list is linked to Allakhazam so you can find the nearest place to purchase the items besides the AH. Some of the Mats for enchanting will be sold by or near the Enchanting trainer as limited supply items. You won’t be able to purchase to many, but it will help out a bit in the long run. Any time you have an opportunity to purchase a material that is limited supply, do it. It is much cheaper than the AH. All prices listed are approximate, as each servers economy is different.

Shopping List:
Copper Rod x1 (1 silver 24 copper)
Strange Dust x74 (7 Gold)
Lesser Magic Essence x1 (8 silver)

Total Cost: approx: 8 Gold.

Step 3: Start Enchanting

The first step will be to use your enchanting skill to create a Runed Copper Rod, then use Enchant Bracer: Minor Health to enchant the same bracer over and over again until your skill reaches 75.

Once you have reached 75 in your skill check to see how much gold you have left, You may have to wait until you have more gold. If you are broke after getting to 75, again I suggest that you do a little WoW gold farming research so you can be better prepared for the next step.
