To take advantage of this World of Warcraft strategy you will need an enchanting skill of 275. This could save you some serious time from wow gold farming.

Head to the nearest auction house and do a search for level 65-70 uncommon items. Purchase every green item that is priced at less than 5 gold, then head to the mailbox and pick up your purchases. Disenchant the items you have purchased.

You will most likely get a few Arcane Dusts or a few Greater Planar Essences. The Arcane Dust will sell on average for about 2 gold each and the Greater Planar Essence will sell for 4 gold each.

You can also do this trick with level 65-70 rare items. Purchase any blue item that is priced a less than 20 gold. Follow the same steps as above. The items will more than likely disenchant into Large Prismatic Shards that sell for around 25 gold each.

Remember that every realm will have different economics, so the prices and values of individual items may vary.

I’ve heard of this WoW Gold farming strategy before (well I wouldn’t really call it a WoW gold farming strategy but…) and have heard that it can be extremely effective. Some people may not be cut out for it because it involves profiting from other unsuspecting World of Warcraft players. If you have lower than average morals, prepare to make some profit! For this to work you are going to need to use two characters that are on the same realm.

1. Find a decent priced rare item in the Auction House. Make sure that there are no other auctions of that same item at this time.
2. Purchase the item and then relist it for a much higher price.
3. Then log in on the other character and place an ad in the trade channel that says: “WTB <insert item the you originally purchased> for <enter much higher price than what you listed it on the AH for>”
4. Now wait for a few moments for someone to check out the AH and realize that the item you mentioned in the trade channel is on the AH, and that they could make profit by buying it from the AH and selling it to you. They will then contact you.
5. Once a deal has been struck arrange a meeting place to make the trade.
6. Once you meet up and open the trade window you can confirm that they have the item. Now say something to the player like: “Hold on just a minute I need to transfer some gold to this character brb”
7. Then log out and check your other character to see if the auction had sold

As you can see you are scamming someone that was planning on scamming you. They could have easily sent you a tell that mentioned that the item you are looking for is in the AH for cheaper than what you are asking. Well this is how I justify WoW gold farming from other players. Give it a try. I would start with low priced items to start and then work your way up.

I think the best addon you can possible have in your bag of tricks for wow gold farming would have to be the World of Warcraft Auctioneer.  I know that a lot of you have heard of this amazing WoW addon before, but there are some people that have never seen or heard the potential of the World of Warcraft Auctioneer.

As the name suggests, this addon is built specifically for the World of Warcraft auction house.  I first found the World of Warcraft Auctioneer a few years ago when I was developing my wow gold farming strategies.  It is a real life saver and has the potential to help you draw out a ton of gold from the auction house.

The short version of what the World of Warcraft auctioneer does is that it scans the auction house looking for deasl; items that are listed at below market value that can be purchased and sold for a profit.

So how can the World of Warcraft Auctioneer do this when ever single server has a slightly different economy?

The main benfit of the World of Warcraft Auctioneer is the ability to scan the auction house.  What this scan does is go through every single auction that is listed at the time of scan and complies a database unique to the server you are playing, that has an average selling price for each item it scans.  As you can tell it would be very beneficial to scan often so that you can have more data to back up these average prices.

After you have collected enough data you can then begin buying low and selling high with ease.  There is a function on the World of Warcraft Auctioneer addon that allows you view all of the items in the AH that are listed for well below market value that you can purchase and resell for some great profits.

It doesn’t seem like it would be a great limited supply item for you to sell on the AH for your WoW gold farming adventures, but actually it is a great seller.  I think the reason why it sells so well is because it is only sold in one place.  Most of the other limited supply items are sold by quite a few vendors which makes these item not quite as profitable.

The Pattern Earthen Leather Shoulders is a great item to buy and sell to earn some cash by WoW gold farming.  Like I said before this is a very understated item, but the beauty of it is that it can be purchased for a mere 20 silver and then sold on the AH for an average of 2 gold 74 silver.  I have even seen this item go for as high as 6 gold.

• Hillsbrad Foothills - Zixil 60.19

(while you are there pick up Pattern: Earthen Leather Shoulders, Pattern: Red Woolen Bag and Formula: Enchant Boots Minor Agility)

Just a note that the coordinates are approximate as this vendor travels the road between Tauren Mill and Southshore.  Start of your WoW gold farming right by heading to Zixil and picking up this pattern.

A great item to go and do some WoW gold farming for is the Big Iron Fishing Pole. This item usually sells on the Auction House for around 32 gold.

In order to get this item head to the Shadowprey Village in Desolace. It is a Horde controlled village,so you Alliance that want to do this must be careful. Once you make it to the village (or near the village) head out into the water and head west. It is best to bring along a few Water Breathing Potions. Just west of the docks you will be a bunch of submerged cages scattered throughout the seabed. In order to find the Big Iron Fishing Pole you will need to open these cages. The cages will normally spawn a level 33-34 mob, but once in a while they drop the Big Iron Fishing Pole. I figure you could probably make a solid 3-4 gold and hour in this location with all of the other drops of vendor trash and possible green items.

This spot can be a tedious place to do some WoW gold farming if you play on a crowded server, but can be very rewarding if you give it a try.

This is an easy way to do a little WoW gold farming within the city.

Head on over to Booty bay and find ‘Old Man Heming’ at 27.77 and purchase the book ‘Expert Fishing - The Bass and You. This book teaches the reader how to become an expert fisherman to a maximum skill of 225.

Once you pick up this book head to an AH and sell it. The average going price for this item is around 4 gold. So considering it sells for 1 gold, you have just made an easy 3 gold.

This is a really easy way to make a little extra cash by WoW gold farming. I tell you gold farming within a city is the easiest!
